The Ohio Food Policy Network is a network of people and organizations who share values and a vision for a just, sustainable and thriving food system in Ohio. OFMN is proud to represent Ohio’s farmers markets as a member of the steering committee.

The Ohio Nutrition Incentive Network (OHNIN) is a partnership of Ohio healthy food retailers, producers, state agencies, national experts and local partners working toward a shared vision of affordable access to healthy, local foods.

The Ohio Farmers Market Network is a proud member of the OHNIN Advisory Committee, working on behalf of markets, vendors and consumers throughout Ohio. The Advisory Committee coordinates and supports the implementation of Ohio Produce Perks, an effective, measurable, community-based intervention that promotes increased consumption of fresh and healthy foods for vulnerable populations.

The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) administers programs and services to meet the needs of older Ohioans. OFMN is thrilled to be partnering with the Ohio Department of Aging and Ohio Area Agencies on Aging to modernize and enhance the Ohio Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP).

The Washington State Farmers Market Association is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization working to bring local, healthy food to communities and direct sales to farmers, artisans and other small businesses throughout Washington. OFMN is proud to partner with and offer their Farmers Market Boot Camp to Ohio’s farmers markets, their board, staff and volunteers.

The Division of Food Safety helps assure consumers are provided foods, over-the-counter drugs, dietary supplements and cosmetics that are safe, unadulterated and honestly presented. OFMN is proud to work with ODA staff members to provide information and resources to market managers and vendors through online education opportunities and conferences. In addition, OFMN serves on the Mobile Food Advisory Board.

OSU South Centers provides objective scientific research and powerful educational programs through the collaboration of OARDC, OSU Extension and several local, state and national partners. OFMN has partnered on educational programming and grants such as a recent North Central Region - Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (NCR-SARE)Professional Development Program, "Professional Development for Ohio Farmers Market Managers and OSU Extension Educators on Creating a Culture of Data Collection for Sustainability Planning for Markets and Farmers."

Green Umbrella leads a network committed to taking decisive action in the face of climate change. OFMN is a member of Green Umbrella and participates as a committee member on the Greater Cincinnati Regional Food Policy Council and partnered on a Regional Food System Partnerships (RFSP), GCRFPC Partnerships for a Healthy Regional Food System.

The Columbus & Franklin County Local Food Action Plan provides common goals and actions to unify efforts in growing, processing, transporting, selling, consuming and disposing of food. The Plan seeks to address inequalities in access to healthy food, affordable food, and local food. OFMN has partnered with the Central Ohio team on many projects including OFMN’s 2018 Farmers Market Promotion Program grant award, “Growing Central Ohio Markets Through Public/Private Partnerships: Planned Growth, Professional Development and Collaborative Branding for Farmers, Food Producers and Market Managers” and FarmSHARES, a program that connected Columbus area local food focused community organizations, Columbus urban growers and Ohio farmers, and Ohio residents who were out of work due to closings and restrictions from the coronavirus pandemic.
